Last Sunday’s Dreamers session was notable for the opportunity to wish Pat Farmer a very Happy 90th Birthday (actually today 23rd November). We all signed greetings cards and Jonathan organised us into the customary rendition of Happy Birthday. Another great guest evening at the Club on Sunday with Kana, a new female group based in Perranporth, singing shanties and songs of the sea, often with a new twist. Another wonderful guest evening for Dreamers last Sunday with Bruce Watson from Melbourne. Some great humerous songs – “I’m on the Train” and “What do you know about the Pangolin” to name but two but also plenty of more serious material, all adding up to an evening with lots of variety in which we all joined with our usual enthusiasm – “that’s as good as it gets” as Bruce said afterwards.
