Thank you to everyone who came out and donated time & resources for this event. Primarily, Baldrick’s Plan, who suggested the whole thing. With their new line up including Helen Reynolds, they enthralled the Dreamers audience with an offering of songs from the tradition, interpreted and arranged in a fresh and exciting way bringing old songs to life with fine harmony and instrumentation.
Not only did we have a grand musical evening but in the process raised an amazing £300 on the night with more donations coming in. This money will go to support the work of the Disasters Emergency Committee, a collection of 15 major charities working in Ukraine to alleviate the suffering of ordinary Ukrainians caught up in this brutal conflict.
