DESCRIPTION:It certainly was a very Good Friday at the Everyman Folk Club last night with our guests\, Jeff & Elaine Gillet – Discovery Folk Duo. We all enjoyed their wonderful presentation of songs old and new\, as well as the fascinating stories accompanying their choice of material. Jeff & Elaine’s joy of sharing songs from their home area of Gloucestershire was infectious. The mixture of serious\, familiar\, and humorous songs was as perfect as their harmony singing\, and the instrumental talents of Jeff on guitar\, mandola\, Appalachian dulcimer\, and concertina were used wisely and sympathetically. A superb evening from this delightful and engaging couple. \n\n\n\nThe above review from the Everyman Folk Club in Suffolk.
