Dreamers are visiting Bodmin Folk Club

Posted By dreamersfolk on May 4, 2018

Once a year Dreamers glide up the A30 to visit our musical friends at Bodmin Folk Club. This year the date has been set for Friday 25th May 2018.

Bodmin are celebrating their 50th year of bringing the best of folk roots & acoustic musicians and singers to this westerly outpost of the UK. They have a fantastic extravaganza lined up for Saturday May19th at the Wadebridge Town Hall. Two concerts, one in the afternoon and a grand finale in the evening. Tickets from crbo.ticketsolve.com

Our Friday 25th May evening will be at their new venue, St Petrocs Hall, which is only a few yards up the road from their last venue at the Band room. Unfortunately, being a church hall there is no alcohol license, so bring your own booze if you want to, or have a nice tea or coffee and a chat at interval time.

The evening gets underway at 8pm and the usual format is Bodmin Cub perform in the first half of the evening and Dreamers the second half.

There will be cars going from Penzance with spare seats, so if you’d like to share the journey and benefit the environment with less pollution, send us a message with number of seats required and we’ll try to fill cars and make it a more social event. Use the contact button above or call in to Dreamers and leave your details there!
